A much needed getaway!!!

Back in May Chris and I took a much needed little getaway to Chattanooga...we had a free hotel room and thought we would just spend one night and spend the day in Chattanooga while we were both off work at the same time!!! With him driving now and not ever knowing when he will work and with me working all the time it is hard to have a weekend where we are both off!! Well we found one and took a road trip!!! We left when I got off work one Friday and this is the rainbow we saw on our way there!!! What a beautiful drive!! We stopped at the hotel and I changed clothes and then we went downtown to eat at Sticky Fingers!!! It was really good....

The next morning our first stop was Rock City.... I had never been and it was a lot of fun!!!

The 3 Little Pig

After Rock City we went and walked around Point Park....it was really pretty but I could not get over that we had to pay to walk around....

We had a crazy tour guide ...you know the ones with the most annoying voice and the corny jokes!!! Oh yes we had that one... she had that squeaky voice and Chris was talking like her by the end!!!

Again this is how Chris was through a lot of the cave...We really had a great time and I really look forward to going back to Chattanooga and doing some more of the stuff downtown!! We went and walked around downtown before we left but didn't do the aquarium like we wanted!! We decided to save it for the next time!!! Thank you Chris for taking me away!!

Noah's Ark

Marshall's class did Noah's Ark and she was a

Sun Beam.... she was so excited about her play!! She did a great job and looked beautiful!! I didn't get very many great pictures because my camera does not work great in this room!! I may have to see if I can get one off Dallas' camera!! She is the first one on the left!!!

Mother's Day at the Park

Mother's Day weekend my parents were in town for James play and dad was able to take off the Sunday and stay for the whole weekend!! We decided to try and get dads family together in Columbia so we all went to church at Maury Hills and then went to the park in Columbia... it would have been nice if I could have gotten some pictures of MOTHERS but I didn't get my camera out til late and I didn't get very many pictures!!! We had probably over 50 people there and the kids had a great time!!! Jenny's family was able to be there too and my moms two brothers and their wives were able to join us as well!! It was a beautiful day and the rain held off!! Chris was not able to be there because he was driving to DC... I told him he was excused since I was not a mom yet, but that I am pretty sure he can't always leave me on Mother's DAy!! HA HA!!! The Park where we hung out

The little boys and the BIG boys played baseball and kickball for a long time!! Girls played some too!!!

But most the time Abigail, Mattie, an Lilly explored by themselves!!!

Or hung out with the little ones....THey even each got a stroller with one and took them on a walk... my camera died or I would have got a picture of that parade!!

But Wallace stuck to Uncle Jon the whole time... he is his little buddy!!

Peter Pan

James was in Peter Pan at his school, St. Georges, he was a crocodile and did a great job!!! The 5 year olds do this every year and it was great to see James in it this year!! Abigail did it when she was there too!!!

A picture with his dad... my parents were able to be in town for this but I didn't get very many pictures that day!! He was so proud to show us his classroon after the play!!

Beach Bums

Back in April, Dallas and I took the girls to FL for a little fun in the sun!! We all had so much fun and I got some great pics of the girls on the beach!! I need a better camera and I think I could do a little better!! They both love the beach!! Marshall loves to jump the waves and Josie love to dig in the sand!! Weeks leading up to going to the beach Josie was obsessed with wanting to go to the beach and dig in the sand like a crab.. those were her words!! I think there were a few nights that Dallas could not get her to sleep at home because she was so ready to go to the beach!! She is a mess! Enjoy the pictures.... I couldn't put them all on, but I did do a lot!!!!

Where has the time gone???

So really where has the time gone?? I just celebrated 5 years of working with the Wilt Family..which only means my little baby Marshall is 5 YEARS OLD!!! I seriously can NOT believe it!! She is such a joy to go play with everyday!! Marshall is the best BIG sister and plays so well with others!! She will be going to Ensworth for Kindergarten in the Fall and I know she is so ready and will do great, but it didn't keep my from tearing up the last day I dropped her off at preschool!!! I mean if its this hard with one that is not my own.. I can't imagine with my own children!! Marshall and her little sister Josie make my job not a job and make me love what I do so much!! Marshall asked the other day..."Why do you come every morning while I am eating breakfast?" It was too funny!! Dallas and I just looked at each other and laughed!!! Then the other day Fleming came home from work and Josie said something like this... JuJu you go home..daddy is here... she is getting the hang of it too!! She knows that I can go home when Mommy or Daddy get there!!
Marshall had her party on her birthday, April 18th, at Glow Galaxy and she loved it!!!
