My dad came to stay a few days to help with the older kids after the baby was born...Alexis mom stayed a while and then my mom came in and then my dad came!! He brought them all over to swim where I work one day and we had so much fun!!

Burgess Falls

Chris took me to Burgess Falls on Father's Day and we had so much fun!!! Sometimes on the weekends and week nights when we have nothing to do I start going CRAZY!! HAHA!!! And this was one of those days...I just wanted to do something!!! So he had heard about this place about an hour outside of Nashville and I was all for it!! It was HOT and I am sure I did a little complaining, but it was well worth it!! It is a hike through about 6 different falls....the last one is the biggest and you can walk all the way to the bottom of it and it was amazing!! The breeze down there and you could feel the water... you could swim if you wanted to, but we stayed up on the rocks!! Very beautiful!!!

Marci's having a Baby....

Marci is having a baby and actually as I type this a month after this wonderful shower she now has a one day old baby boy named Teague!!! I have not gotten to see him because I am out of town, but I have seen pictures and he is precious!!!
So back on June 20 we had baby shower for Marci at Misty's house!!! There was a great turnout and it was good to see a lot of people I have not seen in a while!!!

Introducing Graves Brown Adcox

Yes I am an Aunt again and he is the most precious baby!! Graves Brown was born June 8th around 12:30am..... he was 2 weeks early and weighed in at 9lbs 1oz. He came out PERFECT!! (not kidding!!)

His name comes from both sides of the family....Graves is Alexis' moms maiden name and Brown was my grandfathers name!! They are calling him Graves!!

I am so lucky to live so close to them so I do get to see him a lot and wow do they change so fast!!! More pictures to come!!

DAVIS FAMILY RIVER VACATION!!!

The last weekend in May...Chris' family came up from MS and met us at my Aunt and Uncle's cabin near Hohenwald on the Buffalo River!!! We all had so much FUN!!! We can't think Aunt Connie and Uncle Dave enough for allowing us to use their cabin!!!

We had so much fun and loved being all together as a family!!! We did a lot of eating and a lot of relaxing and spent a lot of time outside!!!! Thank you again Aunt Connie and Uncle Dave!!!

I will have to say after all that eating the first thing Chris and I did when we pulled back into Nashville was go eat at our FAVORITE place!!! If you know me you don't even have to ask where!!! But for those who don't here it is........OH I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!
